Taylor (Shag and Balcom) arrive in Boston.

(ca.) Born and raised in Danville, Virginia, brothers Shag Taylor and Bal Taylor become the ward bosses of Ward 9. In addition to running Lincoln Pharmacy at 922 Tremont Street, they assume operation of the Pioneer Club at 1 Westfield Street. Shag Taylor dies on November 6, 1958.* Balcom Taylor dies on July 13, 1977.
